With the project completed in 1999 and with a great result to follow, we looked into the possibilities of making the solution available to others.
By 2001 we founded Asmo Marine and started shipping our solutions to other sailors.

In the beginning our clients were mainly super enthusiasts that we thank deeply, for trusting us and helping us solve the early bumps on the road.
Today we have clients around the globe and deliver electric power solutions to sailboats, catamaran’s, motorboats and solar-electric boats.

We believe that sailing is about the sense of freedom and enjoying nature.
So what started out as a private mission to improve our own pleasure of sailing turned into pleasure for more people than we could ever have imagined. And in this regard there is no substitute for an electric engine.

Imagine being at sea, free of the noise and smell from a combustion engine not to mention the indecent hassle of maintenance and reliability.
With an electrical solution you also get lower maintenance cost and more responsive maneuverability, especially in harbors and emergency situations.

In our opinion the choice is obvious.

An electric solution, whether it is a battery only solution or a hybrid solution, reduces the pollution of the very elements we sail and gives you advantages that can only be provided with an electric solution.
