Motor
All systems use a patented permanent magnet DC motor that operates
at an efficiency up to 93%.
The high efficiency means less power consumption and gives the motorsolutions
longer distance before the need for recharging.
Due to the high efficiency, the need for recharging after a shorter
period of motoring is reduced. This gives the battery bank a unique
long lifetime. |

Console
The motor is mounted on a console, custom built to fit into a sailboats
engine room. The console can reuse foundations from most diesel
installations and is very easy to install.
As it requires less space than a diesel engine, boats with a small
engine room, now has the possibility of having an inboard motor
installed. |

Gearing
We have chosen to use a belt reduction gearing instead of mounting
the motor direct on the drive shaft. The gearing optimizes the efficiency
of the motor, to the most efficient RPM of the propeller.
The gearing improves torque and thereby acceleration.
Gearing reduces wear and tear of the engine dramatically, and ensures
a lifetime that by far exceeds the lifetime of a diesel engine. |

Motor controller
The electronic motor controller is the heart of the system, as it
controls the power of the engine. With an average efficiency of
97%, the motor controller is along with the rest of the components
used in the system, securing an optimal usage of the battery bank.
The motorcontrol box is designed for easy installation, so throttle,
key lock, charger, battery monitor and DC-DC converter can be connected
by plug and play. |

Throttle
The motor solution comes with a waterproof, infinitely variable
forward/back throttle, making speed control and maneuvering easy
and accurate. The throttle is ready for cockpit mounting. |

Key Lock
The motor solution comes with a keylock ready for cockpit mounting.
