Just after our first season as sailors, we chose to convert to an electric engine. We decided to go for the regeneration model from Asmo Marine, so we could charge our batteries while going for sail.The near absence of engine noise as well as the momentum when accelerating in both forward and reverse, are noticed by other sailors whenever going in and out of harbours. Turn the switch on, push the throttle and the boat sails - uncomplicated and plain simple.
